Hey Girls!

Just got our visa granted a couple weeks ago. Planning on moving in September and I can't wait to meet up with some of you! I am 30yo (edit....I just realised I am 31, haha!), and will be coming with my husband (33 yo). I am Canadian, so I hope you girls would still include me ;) . Laura22 - I would love to go for a Sunday drink someday! I also love working out, and finding awesome cafes and food!! :)

Hi everyone, I am f 28yrs old, just moved to Adelaide from Ireland with my partner. I am housesharing with three guys and would love some girl time, just to hang out and have the chats. I am only here since January, but will be here for next few years for my job. I tried to private message one or two people but it won't let me (I just joined the forum so still figuring out how it works).

I like jogging, and am big into yoga, I love going to cafes and for a few drinks on the weekend, or weekday lunch dates in the CBD. I am living in North Adelaide. Any girlies out this way want to meet up?

Missing my friends from home so much, and been busy with work so it is hard to meet people.

Hi everyone

I have been here 3 years but I am in need of finding people to workout with as well as socialising! The girl friends I have here are all moving out of adelaide or pregnant!

I am 27 living in Park Holme. If anyone wants to catch up or keep fit let me know. I'm just about to start the kayla itsines beach body guide so if your interested in that otherwise I have an anytime fitness membership and usually go to anytime Glenelg or the city, occasionally I go to Mitchell park too

Hi, I moved to Adelaide 2 weeks ago and already really missing going out for a drink after work with my friends! Id definitely be up for meeting people in the same situation as me and going for a drink or two. It would be good to hear how other people have settled in whilst exploring some of the bars / pubs in the city.

Hi all me and my partner our moving to adelaide in July with our little girl. It would be nice to meet couples but also some girls to hang out with too and have a giggle. I'm 26 and will be staying in the port noarlunga area. Would be good to check out the city or some of the wineries :-) I'm also on fb xx

I'm 34 and have been here 4 years now - would love to meet any ladies that are up for a laugh, enjoy a glass of wine (or a pint of beer or a green tea - I am not fussy) and some decent food!

I spend most of my time either in Glenelg, Hampstead Gardens or the CBD.

What about a girls night out for everyone on this thread in the next few weeks?? Maybe in Glenelg or the city? I'm not sure if there is a way to create an 'event' on here. Does anyone know? Otherwise perhaps people could suggest somewhere. Ive been here 6 weeks now but still don't know the best places to go. It would be great to meet a few people for a wine or two.

I'm Gemma...28 from Leeds. Been here 3 weeks and going stir crazy! Husband is working, 9 yr old daughter is at school and I'm at home with our 1 yr old (I'm having some time off as I only had 16wk maternity leave as had to save to come here.) Living in hallett cove and wondering if there are any ladies (mums or not) who are as bored as me and need someone to talk to! Had such a large circle of friends at home that being here on my own is proving difficult! Love a coffee, wine, walks, shopping, music, going out, cinema, NRL & pretty much everything! Please tell me I'm not the onlyl one?

Sounds like a great idea for Friday. Im not sure how this thread works and if everyone will see this message. Happy to do a 'reply to thread' message if you have any suggestions for where to go for a wine on Friday :-)

Ok - how about Friday 19th June in the CBD? I will put an event/ post up for this in this section of the boards (Socialising) - I'll also try and send a few PM's just incase people don't check the boards.

Should be good fun to meet some new (and old) friends.

hey gemma

good to hear from a Yorkshire lass! We are from Halifax and was over in Leeds yesterday. We fly to Adelaide on the 9th July so keep in touch, would be good to meet. Can imagine it being hard work when your at home on your own when you still don't know your bearings. Do you like Adelaide? X x

Adelaide is really nice, lots of family things to do, and the beaches are lovely! It is very quiet though compared to Leeds! Hallett cove isn't far from noarlunga so if you're stuck for friends when you arrive give me a message and you will be more than welcome for a BBQ and drinks at ours!xx
