As I’m sure most of you are aware John got married and started a new family and rather than all of us causing him sleepless nights it will be night time feeds and changing nappies taking our place. John has been the face of Moneycorp on the forums for many years, and some us have had the pleasure in meeting with him in person at the Pomsinoz Meet Ups which helped secure that trust and care he always showed out members. I don’t know if you will read this, but John, you were a great asset to Moneycorp and we all wish you well for the future. I know we have had a few members contact us about Johns account. Can members Please read the following post, which details how to manage forum notifications. Unfortunately, due to a handful of members incorrectly flagging notification emails they have chosen to receive as 'spam', the server IP address has been blacklisted by yahoo. As such, all members with yahoo email accounts (including on our other forums) are no longer able to receive emails from the forum. I'm in the process of trying to resolve this, however, if members don't wish to receive email notifications, can they please read the following post. Default Notification Settings Selecting Notification Settings on in the "Other Settings" section of your account settings page (https://www.pomsinadelaide.com/settings/) will present you with all the options for how notifications are create for you by default when creating or replying to content, along with other events on the site. In the top section of this page you will see something similar to the below. First of all you will notice on the right the "Browser notifications enabled" sign. This means that if your browser allows desktop notifications, it will notify you even when you are not active on that page. On the left you will see a series of options which will allow you to set the automatic notification options relevant to your account. So for example you may want to be automatically set as following an item of content and receive notifications for that followed content whenever you reply to an item. From here you can set this up. In the botton half of the page, you can then set up the notification types for each notifiable item on the site. So you may wish to set up notifications and emails for when someone sends you a message on the site, however you may only want to get a notification in the notification list for someone who sets to follow you. Managing existing followed content With all the content that you can follow on the forum, it is important that you can manage this easily and in one place. You can manage your followed content in this way by selecting your name in the top right, then selecting "Manage Followed Content" When clicking on this option, you will be presented with the following screen. You will notice that you can filter through different types of content using the menu on the left of the page To change the way in which you follow (or indeed remove completely) you can select the Change Preference button provided next to a given item. This will then present you with the various options you can change. In addition to this method, you can also do this with multiple items at once. To do this, you select the checkboxes next to each item that you want to change. On clicking one or more of these checkboxes, you will be shown a menu at the bottom of the screen to change the options as you wish. This is shown in the screenshot below. There's also an option so that you can unsubscribe yourself from all followed content with one click - as shown in the screenshot below ('Remove from All Content')

South Australia is third on dwelling starts, business investment and unemployment For each state and territory, latest readings for the key indicators were compared with decade averages – that is, against the ‘normal’ performance. The State of the States report also includes a section comparing annual growth rates for the eight key indicators across the states and territories as well as Australia as a whole. This enables another point of comparison – in terms of economic momentum. Unemployment South Australia ranks third, its 5.8 per cent jobless rate is 3.5 per cent below the decade average and stands at a 5- year low. Equipment Investment Equipment investment in Queensland, Western Australia, South Australia and Tasmania are all at their highest levels in two years. Construction Work The ACT has remained in fourth position with construction work 6.6 per cent above decade averages followed by South Australia (up 3.9 per cent). Dwelling Starts South Australian starts are 5.0 per cent above decade averages

So you’re thinking of moving to Adelaide? A key question is therefore – “How long will it take for my visa to be granted?” A very good question and an understandable one. Naturally, you’re eager to start your new life down under. Such information is also crucial as there's lots to sort out before you can move. When do you put your house up for sale? – too early and you might have to move into temporary accommodation if your house sells and your visa hasn’t been granted. Too late and you may end up with your visa being granted and not being able to move as your house hasn’t sold and your equity is tied up in the property. A visa grant date is also important to know as without it, you can’t arrange removals/shipping, quarantine for your pets, flights and a multitude of other things. Fortunately, there are several ways you can get information to help you estimate when your application may be granted DIBP The Department of Immigration and Border Protection publish approximate processing times on there website. The information is not specific to your case however and goes along the lines of “75% of applications processed in x number of days” for example. It’s also possible to send a blank email to DIBP for some visas and this will trigger an automated email response which contains approximate processing times. Australia Migration Forums Another method is to visit groups and forums as many members post their visa timelines on the forums to compare with other members timelines. The sites allow you to chat with other members who are also going through the migration journey. Australia Visa Timelines Immigration Trackers A third way, and a method which is becoming more popular is to utilize an immigration tracker / Australia visa timelines website. This allow you to enter key dates about your visa application and compare them in tabular format with lots of other members. You can look at who’s applied for the same visa as you, the same dates as you, from the same country, occupation etc. This will allow you obtain greater insight into the likely time is will take for your visa to be granted. Each quarter CommSec attempts to find out by analysing eight key indicators: economic growth; retail spending; equipment investment; unemployment; construction work done; population growth; housing finance and dwelling commencements. Just as the Reserve Bank uses long-term averages to determine the level of “normal” interest rates; we have done the same with the economic indicators. For each state and territory, latest readings for the key indicators were compared with decade averages – that is, against the “normal” performance. The latest State of the States report also includes a section comparing annual growth rates for the eight key indicators across the states and territories as well as Australia as a whole. This enables another point of comparison – in terms of economic momentum. How are Australia’s states and territories performing? - South Australia remains in 7th place For each state and territory, latest readings for the key indicators were compared with decade averages – that is, against the ‘normal’ performance. The State of the States report also includes a section comparing annual growth rates for the eight key indicators across the states and territories as well as Australia as a whole. This enables another point of comparison – in terms of economic momentum. The latest data indicates a multi-speed national economy. NSW is solidly on top with little to separate ACT and Victoria. Then there is a gap to Tasmania, Queensland, Northern Territory and South Australia then another gap to Western Australia NSW has solidly held the position as the best performing economy, at or near the top on all indicators. The ACT has moved into second spot, improving its relative position on five of the eight indicators. Victoria has eased to third spot on the economic performance rankings but there is little to separate the state from the ACT. Tasmania remains in fourth spot just ahead of Queensland, Northern Territory and South Australia. The rankings haven’t changed in the last quarter. Western Australia continues to lag other economies and annual growth rates remain below national averages on all indicators. 7th. South Australia Strength: Business Investment Weakness: Unemployment Insights into South Australia The South Australian economy is in seventh position. South Australia is middle-ranked on business investment and fifth-ranked on dwelling starts. Summary NSW has retained its top rankings on business investment, retail trade and dwelling starts. NSW is in second spot on unemployment, construction work and economic growth. NSW is in third spot on housing finance and unemployment. The ACT has lifted to second spot and is now top-ranked on housing finance. The Territory is second on two indicators and third on another three. Victoria is in third spot, easing in its relative position on business investment and housing finance. Victoria leads on population growth. There is little to separate other economies and there have been no changes in rankings. Tasmania holds its position in fourth spot but there is little to separate it from Queensland, Northern Territory and South Australia. Tasmania is now in second spot for unemployment. Queensland remains in fifth position on the economic performance rankings. Queensland is benefitting from strong export growth which will boost overall growth of Gross State Product (economic growth). Exports are growing at a 43 per cent annual rate. The Northern Territory remains in sixth position on the economic performance rankings. The Territory is still ranked first on construction work done and unemployment and is now also top-ranked on economic growth. But on forward-looking indicators like population growth, housing finance and home starts, the Territory lags other economies. The South Australian economy is in seventh position. Hundreds / sections are ways of identifying residential areas/property. So South Australia (State) would consist of x number of smaller areas (Hundreds) and each Hundred would consist of smaller areas again (Sections). For South Australia, you can use http://maps.sa.gov.au/plb/ use the info option and it should give you the 'Hundred' for the area/property you're looking at. I'd have thought that address, suburb and postcode would satisfy requirements though.

If there's no rush, will Auspost ship it by sea? (http://auspost.com.au/parcels-mail/sea-mail.html) as the lithium battery issue is only related to flights. If you're looking at a courier company I'd expect you'd have to go with someone like Fedex or DHL.
