  7. I really like Robe, we will be going down there again between xmas til new year for the 3rd year running. We stay at the BIG 4 Campsite which is greatly equipped for families - situated opposite the beach and a nice 20 min coastal walk into the town, also has an indoor swimming pool for when the weather isn't too good (but been bloomin hot the last couple of years) The town itself is small and has a nice relaxed beachy feel - You gotta try and out the fab ice-cream shop on the high street - its very quirky with loads and loads of fabulous different ice cream creations. They have a cinema there, its tiny and honestly felt like you were sitting in someone's lounge - but I love that sort of different stuff! Very relaxing place to go and I love the homeware shops that they have there - I always bring something back for our home. Definite a place to visit! Sarah x
  8. Thanks J I don't understand why houses for sale are taken off the realestate section and moved to the for sales/wanted section where nobody really sees it. Apart from one member who was selling his house and that was never moved......hey ho!! :-))
  9. http://www.realestate.com.au/property-house-sa-moana-115530467 We are selling our beautiful home by the beach in Moana. We built it just over 3 years ago with Rivergum using our own design. Please check it out Sarahx

  11. Is it just me or has anyone else noticed that there seems to be a lot more mozzies and flies out at the moment?? arrgghhh Those mozzies just love me and no matter what I spray myself with, I'm targeted!!. We've eaten al fresco a few times recently and there just seems to be more flies than usual??? I think the last couple of years, we seemed to be lucky with the fly situation, as I didn't think it was too bad - but they seem to out a lot more this year!!

  21. Hi Noriniron We maybe able to help you - We are located in Moana....is that something you would consider? or a bit too far out? Sarah
  22. Hi Ashleigh SHort term furnished rentals are on the whole more expensive to rent out - however, if you are considering to stay longer than 8 weeks, then many landlords are open to negiotate prices lower...just a thought! We did like the previous poster...we didnt bring any furniture at all - same reasons, didnt think our old furniture would go with our new house etc and wanted a fresh start. It completely worked for us and I would do the same again...The money that it would have cost us to ship everything over, we bought new stuff that fitted into our new home correctly. Horses for courses! Sarahxx
  23. I think many employers do this - interview for jobs where there are currently contractors doing that position. And I do know of positions that the then contractor didnt get the job, so its not all cut n dry. But I dont think its like that with these - I do know that these would have been advertised internally first and if they dont get a good enough response then they advertise externally. Im currently a contracting for one of the positions that is up on the list - but I am NOT applying,(Im only wanting part time hours, not full time) so that one is defo up for grabs!! Good luck all!! Sarahx
  24. Hi Guys Just thought Id let you know that there are some Admin positions available at the moment at Flinders University.
