887 Visa - What's the update?

Just a reminder for all December, Jan, Feb and March applicants. You may get your direct grant some time next week.

Double check your documents and make sure all required docs are uploaded and valid. Also is good to upload your recent residential and work evidences if you have some. (Recent payslips and new residential agreements, new phone bills, new tax and super documents. )

Let CO knows that you are a good citizen and never escape from regional :)

Up to 3 months is acceptable

Thank you Nudgee, you are knowledgeable.

i contacted the regional development centre and asked the manager of the centre if i can move in on specific date, and she said yes no problem.

i got my visa in september and move to the regional area in december in the same year. so it should not be an issue right?

No it won’t be an issue, the department will understand people need time for relocation and finding accommodation. For onshore 489 applicants you can move within 3 months.

If you write a chronology of events after you landed here and support them with appropriate level of documentation. It should be accepted. Some things at times are beyond the control of an individual and visa cannot be seen as a restriction when it is the matter of health or any issues related to that. Questions might be asked  around hospital arrangements in regional  area and the rationale to be transferred to metropolitan, which you can support with the documents from Dr/hospital etc.

There is also option to apply 489 2nd Provisional visa if you are falling short of completion of residency and work conditions due to genuine reasons.

It appears post your stay in non- regional area you have made all the attempts to comply with visa conditions, which is tick in the box as it demonstrates genuine attempt  to be in compliance to visa conditions.

This group can only provide suggestions out of their individual experience which is limited, not an advice to make an decision.

Professional advice will be beneficial, as your case is  very specific and has unique circumstances, Mark from Migration Solutions  (search on Facebook) have been of great help to 489 visa group holders.  You might want to try that option out before making a decision.

Best wishes.

Thank you so much. I will contack mark regarding to this matter.

Best wishes

I strongly suggest you to contact migration lawyer ... I am bit scared if u leave in metropolitan area ..as it may consider as breach of visa conditions... for Residence proof you can provide payslips , utility , Rego documents, driving license, employment references or decelerations if stayed in shared accomodation ...etc....

Hi

My sons passport picture and current photograph on PR application have a big difference. Can anybody help to find sample statuary declaration form to attached. Actually I recently started to follow this forum which is very help full.  Also is GP can sign this Statuary declaration form for photo difference. Because it says in standard stat dec only medical practices can sign. But google clarification for medical practices is a specialist doctor for specific thing.

Thank you

stat declaration.docx

If you already done medical of yOur  kid in 489 and co haven't ask for medical again you don't need it and you need passport and license coloured copy of non relative person who can come with you at jp or gp office to verify then you have to upload that ids and stat declaration form into immi account.Better to show that documents at Bupa medical doctor otherwise he will send request to immi to do verification of kid bcz of appearance change .
