Guest Martin and Val

How about "TykeHoon" similar to a typhoon but if caught in one a TykeHoon could race you out of trouble!

Or "TykeClone" as you would be better off in a a TykeClone than a Cyclone.

Or just simply "Tropical Storm"

Good luck Sailor

How about Aussie-Life ?????

Now thats a nice normal suggestion:biglaugh:

I dont think you should call it anything to do with TYKE as you will have nutters coming up to you at the boat ramp asking "are you Tyke off PIA?"

ive only just came across this thread and all i can say is great minds think alike as i was going to suggest OLYVE too, because of the olive oil connection. (i spelt with a y to be different it would look better in loopy signwriting with an olive branch on the boat too!)

Thanks for all of your suggestions so far.

Today is boat test day.

The dealer is taking us out for an hour or so to get the feel of he/she/it before we stump up the cash.

I was hoping for some choppy weather to test in and Mrs Tyke wanted flat calm - we have Mrs Tyke's weather today.

Have to do a few hard turns back on myself then:arghh:

Hi Tyke,

after many seconds of deep thought I have to offer:

"White Rose"

Fits all criteria: yorkshire roots, easy to spell & (most importantly) Girly!

Or even just Rosie?

When is 'she' going to be named then?

Great stuff so far - keep em' coming. Thanks for all the effort and imagination.

We've just signed up for her/him/it today after a terrific test on the water.

Mrs Tyke was really pleased so that's half the battle.

We have 4 weeks to delivery now so a bit of time yet.

I did note someone pointed to my musical roots in this thread;)
