Thats exactly what he did, he did not realise he had to report it, there was no adult in the car, just a toddler stood up in the front seat, had he told us when it happened we would have taken him to the police station and reported it, we knew to report but unfortunately he didn't. He is not disputing that he made contact with the car just the amount the insurance want.

He didn't report it as he only nudged it, it didn't look like he had done any damage, so he came home. 2 days later the police came and said it was a hit n run and he would have to appear in court, he is still waiting for the summons.

Son is going down the police station tomorrow to get the pics and report, as he has to go to court the police said he can bring the matter of the insurance up with the judge and the judge will rule if its excessive or not. Fingers crossed. Thanks for all the advice guys x

He got a detailed report from insurance, for example, rear left 1/4 window $$$, he hit the wheel arch, rear bumper dented $$$, again he hit the wheel arch etc etc. The police took pictures at the time, but they want $69 to print them off. He is now insured with SGIC, but don't know if they will advise him what to do. Looks like we will have to pay to see the photo's.

Hi all, just wondering if you can dispute an insurance claim (car) and if so how do you go about it? My son dinged a car in a carpark, he made contact with the rear wheel arch, but the other persons insurance want just over $2 grand for damages he couldn't have done, just a bit pissed off as he didn't have insurance at the time as he had only just bought it and thought he was covered with the rego insurance, any advice would be appreciated.

Try seaford day and night clinic, they are great and are always taking on new patients, they open till 10pm most nights and do weekends as well, you can also have a lot of the minor tests done there as well. Really nice receptionists willing to go the extra mile.

How much a week

We have adam internet, used them for 3 yrs, no probs till now, but it's being sorted. We use 3 devices on a regular basis, don't use skype as yet, but phonecalls are really cheap. Overall I would reccomend them.

My son is renting in north Adelaide, but has had lots of problems with his agent, I was wondering if there is somewhere you can report the agent for doing things illegally like a governing body or something, as my son has been put on TICA without prior notice, plus a lot of other things, etc etc, have phoned the ombudsman, nowt do with him, phoned the OCBA and they are dragging their feet and it needs sorting. Any help would be greatly appreciated xx

Ask for Nigel at superior meats, he's the boss and will give you an honest answer, he does all sorts of stuff, you just have to ask. If you can't get him on the number above they will give you the Flagstaff shop number.

Renting a car from Budget, and found them reasonable, but when we went to book it they want an extra $310 to cut the excess from $2.800 to just $300, but we haven't got the extra money, should we take a chance and hope for the best or dip into our holiday money (which is already pretty tight) we are also travelling interstate which has cost us $150 extra. The cost just keeps spiraling....

I worked in a chippy in the uk for 20 odd yrs and we never used anything to keep the chips white, we had large tubs of peeled potatoes out the back, when we needed chips we would put them into a chipper and fill a bucket, these would be cooked straight away. Nobody should need to wait an hour for fish n chips.
