dont worry tony, we've been here now for about 8 months and so far we got speeding tickets..well my hubby does..the lates one was at expressway going home from city and im telling u its quite hefty...

we are going camping....its really up to u what u want to do...throw a barby , go to the beach...explore around other areas...but dont forget to put ur ozzie flag

we were living up north before but we didnt like the area too much industial for us...so when we had a look down south, we fell in love with the area...nice beaches....and u need to look first for a short term rental if ur renting...so that u can easily be free from ur lease agreement if u find an area that u like to be in...

yeah i agree with motly...driving here is horrendous! u really need to look at ur wing mirrors...and they do tailgait here! but hey welcome to adelaide! hope you will be happy...

as for me...we spend i think almost same on food wether uk or here...our fortnightly shopping here is around $ 250-300 but thats including meats--- we buy big cuts of meats (pork and beef) and my hubby just cut them down into the sizes i need for cooking..we prefer it that way and find it cheap...we use the local or sunday markets to get the veggies..and fruits... and in a way u can barter the price... we never do shopping at coles as we find it dear! we also get branded stuff suck as kelloggs , weetabix, cheerios atc...and i think it wud be better if we stop comparing uk and oz..thats all i can comment ..thanks janey
