baby gate seems a bit rdraconian to me,,, i would imaginer the change is a lot for him to cope with,maybe try a bed guard to make him feel a bit more like he is still in a cot?

our son has Aspergers..........he is in High School.... Banksia Internation High.... has been great for him - so highly recommended! I always believe that obviously you have to find a good school with understanding teachers but their understanding comes from the competance of the Special Needs Co-ordinator.... and the one at Banksia is fantastic!!! also its a pretty small High School which I think helps! Banksia Middle School is on Cottenham Road........maybe that could be an option?? Nothing worse than your kids not being settled in school..............on this occasion we have been very lucky! Hope it works out for you guys.......... maybe the new year will bring better things....... The other thing is one school can be great for one child and a nightmare for the next.......our kids tell us scary stories about GG High.......but then we also have heard good things! Think you have to visit and get the vibe yourself.......

we have just moved into our own house.......and coped much better with the heat today! Our rental had only two a/c units......the bedrooms were like greenhouses!!! I just put curtain liners up and kept them closed all day...helped a little! We also decided to invest in one of the plug in air con unit which cost us 100 bucks and altho not as good as the installed ones it was pretty invaluable and I would recommend them.......good thing is you can use in lounge and then bedroom when you go to bed!!!! we also got lots of fans!!! - just a thought. Our rental was just no good when the heat arrived............

We are in the North East suburbs ............ we have great bus links to the City....very quick and convenient for getting there for work, shopping and nights out! Only not very near to the Beach - about a 25 min drive ......so not too bad!!!! We have 4 children....... the eldest works in the City and has no probs getting into work for a 7.30am start.....and our eldest teenager is also working in the City part time......and again has great transport links! Areas you could consider are Dernancourt, Highbury, Hope Valley, St Agnes, Modbury Heights, Banksia Park, Redwood Park, ........ sounds like a lot but they are all pretty close to one another! Hope this helps

We had the same dilema as you 15 months ago...we sold up and decided to wait to see what the rate did..and it just kept going down......eventualy we found a house,changed up and forgot about it.You get what you get,there is no guarantee that you will make on the exchange rate,we got 1.65,,,if we had changed when we came we would have got 2.1 but by thinking we could second guess the market,we lost out. My advice to you would be if you realy want to live here,change your dough strait away and forget about it,,,,buy as soon as you can! dont dither like we did,,it will not benefit you!
