Just a quick note of that what I found in an email from the department on 17 June.

 

From 1 July 2015 email addresses will change from '@immi.gov.au' or '@customs.gov.au' to '@border.gov.au'. This is to reflect the Department of Immigration and Border Protection and the Australian Customs and Border Protection Service integrating into a single organisation - the Department of Immigration and Border Protection - on 1 July 2015. At this time the Australian Border Force will be established within the Department. Please update your records and systems to reflect this change.

 

Otherwise, nothing heard...

I checked my visa application stagehttps://www.ecom.immi.gov.au/inquiry/query/query.do?action=eVisa/

Shows "being processed further" but in immi account still application received.

 

Not make sense

I dont think that's the case, there are numerous examples on this forum where AFP is asked prior to ESC being cleared.

 

You can contact immigration or raise a complaint with IGIS to see if your ESC is cleared.

I contacted igis in jan 2015 they told me everything is clear from their side and they toldme if there is no decision made by july then contact them again....

So the fact that they told u to contact in July if you domt get a response by Immigration means that as of Jan 2015 your case with still with ASIO pending decision. If ASIO had cleared your case in Feb 2015 (When you got asked for police check) then it wouldnt have taken immigration so long to process ur case given that recently quite a bunch of 2013 applicants got their visas.

I do however think your ASIO clearance should be done by now. Tomorrow is first day of July 2015so you can raise a case with IGIS and hopefully they'll tell you the good news. Alternatively just give immigration a buzz tomorrow and see what they say.

I have lived couple of countries more than 12 months.If we have already provided our PCC with 489 visa application. Is it require to provide for PCC again, while we will apply for 887 visa?

My wife has paid the second installment fee and she was not required to pay that again. So I do not believe that she has to do the test again as she has already proven with the 489 application.

But don't quote me on that. This is just a thought.

But I reckon someone in the forum should be able to give a definite answer as their partner have not paid the second installment fee but have sucessfully passed the actual IELTS test.
