This is a good sign. Your ESC case seems to have been finalised. Contact your case officer/Team and enquire about your application status. Let them know that you have received this email from IGIS. You're almost there mate

I reckon your security assessment is now completed given that team 13 requested documents from you in June 2014. I would suggest contacting immigration as soon as possible.

Although it seems funny that IGIS is unwilling to clarify that the case has gone through the security assessment and completed. they put forward 3 assumptions and leave it to the applicant to guess!!!!It should be fairly easy for them to whether the case has ever been referred for assessment or it has completed the security assessment. so unreal!!!

When did you apply and what country you are from?

 

Hi Cloud and all others, my brief timeline is as follows:

 

Visa Applied: 30th Dec 2013

Team 13 Contact: 3rd May 2014

ESC Started: 14th May 2014

Grant: 2nd July 2015

Nationality: Pakistan

 

All I know is my last contact with Immigration was on 12/06/2015 and that that time my case was still ongoing. I called them yesterday and the officer took a long time looking at my case telling me that your file is for review in the coming days. So I am assuming somewhere between 12/06/2015 and today ESC was cleared.

 

I would say anyone who's ESC went before or around the same time as me give DIBP as nudge to see if there's any update.
