hi guys, i was silent member till now. i applied on 09 Aug 16 & granted direct on 07NOV. i hope everyone will get golden email soon. i recommend to upload all of your docs, don't wait for the CO to ask for any docx, enjoy best wishes. if any question please ask.

Congrats on your grant mate. ..just wanted to ask if you uploaded Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) of your country ? wanted to clear this because I dont have a current PCC of my country (I have not visited it in last 1.5 years though). I had only uploaded NPC issued by Federal Police Australia.

 

 

yes mate you still need PCC, apply asap ( i'hv visited my home country in 2012). all of my friends submitted overseas PCC.

Maybe they choose applicants from 10 to 14 July for random checkups and it just takes some time?

Or maybe we were just assigned to a slower team who knows.

Hello Friends - At last I submitted my 887 visa application.

 

I`m on 489 skilled - family sponsored visa. My visa expires on Apr 2018.

 

My doubt is, do I have any travel restriction till Apr 2018 ? When I lodged my 887 visa application, I have received a bridging visa and it shows " No Travel"

 

I`m planning for a vacation during Jan 2017 in India. Is there any issues ?

Hello sandesh

Ur bridging visa is not in effect until april 2018 when ur 489 visa expires. So u may travel until then as long as ur 489 visa allows u to travel.

Hi guys regional sponsor 489 /487 who applied 887 visa July applicants we are still waiting for response but no, I think we should call immigration regarding delay of our applications they should inform us about priority processing 489 family sponsor and regional sponser visas I think its not fair don't know how long we should wait , I send email to immigration yesterday till know no response ,senior members or other pls tell us wat u know my side I decided to chase immigration until they respond

May be u guys uploaded documents at last mimutes like our forum member and friend 16aug who uploaded docs at last minutes and people who applied 887 later than him already received visa grant notice ... did u guys also uploaded docs just before ur file was supposed to be opened????? (16 aug i hope u donot mind i mentioned u in discussion)

@Leo I'm on family sponsored visa and in the same situation as you, so I don't think state or family matters.

@29Aug887 Applied all the documents during the first month of the application.

Hi, I have uploaded everything in one go in two weeks of application. I read in this forum itself that they lock the attachment part if co is allocated so I was just playing with that. I really don't need to upload anything.

 

Just wondering, does it really matter of allocating a case officer of finishing to upload all your documents? My understanding is they'll be allocated as per the serial of applications and before allocation of case officer we can upload documents as much as we wish. If i can remember properly from my application of 489 visa, once u are allocated a CO, ur attachment will turn into yellow/ orange color, in stead of green. and beside that it will show up different comment (i forgot; poor memory:( ), not received.

Leo, I am regional sponsored. lets see how i go. but i believe it would not be a matter as our application does not say anything other than form 80. probably some of the case officer are in holiday and will come back to office soon.:biglaugh:
