First Sunday of Every Month Meet Up

Hi,we are arriving on 3 feb for a 3 week stay to activate our visas so we would love to come and meet everyone.We have 3 children aged 9,6 and 2.Still havent sold our house so thats our only delay now. see you there

Did seriously think of coming but when it got to 41+ this morning decided these 'mad dogs and Englishmen' would stay indoors in the cool. Not good at our age! Hope to join you next month

Well it was a little warm on the beach but once in the warm water and splashing with the kids and other adults it was worth it.

I have been reading the posts and they say the Feb meet up is on the 7th Feb,just want to be sure as I really don't want to miss it.Thanks in advance Clare,Tim and family from Wales

From looking at my calendar the first Sunday is 5TH Feb 2012.

I might be wrong but its always the first Sunday at 3pm on the beach at Norlunga during the summer.

Let us know if you need any more info.

When this thread started Jan 2010 the first Sunday in Feb was the 7th.

Easy mistake to make.

Hopefully we'll make it on the 5th.

Hi, we have been in Oz for a year now in McLaren Flat but have not managed to make friends and build a social life yet so thought the Port Noarlunga meet up would be a good opportunity in February. Will the group be obvious? If the beach is packed, don't want to force ourselves on some poor beachgoers who are just trying to have a relaxing Sunday afternoon!! :huh:Is there a back up plan for bad weather?

We meet up at Port Norlunga beach at 3pm we are usually to the right of the pier as you look into the sea.

We have been here for just over 3 weeks and are looking forward to meeting some people tomorrow at the meet up. Hopefully we will find it..... 3pm, Port Noarlunga Beach??!! Is there anything to pick the group out from the 'crowd'?? Hopefully it won't be raining!!!!???
