Yes your boy need medical and CO will generate HAP ID for you when needed. My boy is 10 months old and CO asked me his medical.

Hi .. If you son never had a medical then the CO would request 1. Once you have submitted your 887 application then you would get 2 option "Attach documents" or "Request Medical" Click on request medical and you would be able to generate the hap ID for you son. Or else the other way is to speak to Home affairs 13 1881.

Yes .. Its usually at the bottom of the page of attach documents.
