Thanks for all ur wishes.. I called Immi yesterday and said all my concerns to the call centre woman almost 30 to 40 Minutes. Repeatedly i said my concerns to her... Today i got my grant.. 

Those who are on 2nd and 3rd timers like Russki, HSK and all September to December 2017 applicants can try calling them and try to convey your concerns very very politely..Your voice over the phone matters...

Hopefully you guys should get some positive response.

Give them a valid and Genuine reason... Not like i got a job in Metro or need to go for vacation, etc...

Give a try.

We are in a same situation as you and we're expecting a baby in 2 to 3 weeks. Just I wanted to ask you that is it a good idea to email them and explain my situation? ( lunched application on December 13 and case opened by co on July 26)

Hi Tsep,

Yesterday i called Immi in the morning approx 9:15 am. By 11:06 am, the messages on my immi account disappeared. After a while it came up and there is no update from them yesterday. But today i got the grant at 8:23 am. I think the decision is made one day earlier before actually email sent or status is updated on the immi accout. That's my assumption.

Thats a big relief. Now i can concentrate on my baby due in 2 weeks time. I explained them each and every bit of my situation... Just as an advice those who are planning for the baby, Either deliver the baby before you apply for 887 and plan it after you get the grant.. Dont get stuck in the neck as like mine..
