Hi mate, exactly every second is like another year since we have been waiting for one year, cant believe it! Every month when i watch the news, the Department just smash their lies onto their face, and make us 489 as sacrifice. Like Jan 2020, they have given out more than 2000-2500 invitations to 189 visas,  and why they say big cities dont need migrants any more?   more than 2000-2500 invitations, with their family members, really generous ,  that means "huge" for painful 489 visa holders.  And this is not the only game they are playing around. All i could say still is " shit".

It's pathetic, it's frustrating people getting PR on other visa so quickly. When it comes to 887, it's not priority processing. We have to wait, there are limited quota for 887. Case officers playing with our file, never check properly what has been uploaded and what's missing. Public holiday issue, new year, christmas, weekend bla...bla...bla too many issue. It’s like a unbelievable scenario here, on top of that people spread rummer that that people got PR on a particular month.

At the end of the day, we are 887 applicant. No matter what happen we believe we will get our golden mail.

Please be patient I know it is hard. I got my residency after 11 years. I had anxiety issues because of all waiting times but now I am relieved and you will be hopefully by the end of this month.

Hello everyone,

I have been following this forum from a few days and have got to know a lot of information regarding visa 887. We will be eligible to apply for 887 next month. We had a baby recently and have sent the documents to DHA to get her added to our visa category. Can anyone please help me with the approx. timeframe DHA takes to add the baby to the parent’s visa? We won’t be able to submit the application for 887 until the baby has 489, so we want to be prepared for this.

Hi All! I have applied for 887 visa. Yesterday,  my account was updated and case officer asked for our health assessment including our new born. ( we already have undergone through medical assessment while Applying 489 visa except new born bht still he asked for us). Today, I opened the account to download the forms. But nothing was there. And it stated that  no health assessment is required. Thats so strange I saw the attached forms yesterday and today is disappeared. Am I doing something wrong? What should I do now? Thanks

-pregnancy 15 weeks
