Ask your company to certify all documents related to work (if they have a JP) and I am sure the bank can issue original bank statements which can be certified

These are sheer time buying strategies. All of us got smart in placing updated AFP so the only option for now is this.

Btw if we have to place "THE CERTIFIED COPY OF WORK DOCS" how do we do that? I, like any others have placed the original payslips (generated by the company itself, so authentic payslips) in my application. What further certification is needed? Statutory declaration? Now an afraid that they will ask CERTFIED COPY OF EVERYTHING😢

Lets wait and see, seems like a special case scenario.

Lets wait for more ppl to be contacted

Hi @S_SHAH! 🙂 Congrats on the CO contacts. This is confusing though - did CO ask to send certified hard copies? Or scans? Or not specified?

Maybe, you should print them out and certify? And then scan agin? 🤔

In my opinion they will only request certified documents if they have any suspicions or simply are unable to rely on the copies .................or want to be 100% sure. But I may be wrong

Yes, that's what I thought... 😞

I see, so they are very specifically asking for certified ATO documents. PAYG summary (group certificates) or NOA 2017. 🙂

How about you print all this stuff and go to MyGOV office and ask them to stamp the documents with the date, proving them to be genuine?? I found this online:

If your enquiry requires a face-to-face interview with an ATO specialist, please contact 13 28 61 to check if you are eligible and to make an appointment.

Maybe, call them to explain situation and ask their advice? 🤔🤨

ATO offices locations are here:

By the way I had electronically generated salary slips for every month with NO company logo. I just went to Police station along with my contract and police officer certified all 24 months copies. He went crazy doing all those though. I could read his mind saying that please dont come again with these many docs to be certified ha ha

Haha!!! 🙂 Police are busy people! I usually use old retired JP guys in the local library for certifying - they have all time in the world for you! The more documents the better! 😄

But this is good news - maybe, @S_SHAH should do just that - print - certify - scan again - submit. 🙂 🤔 Just does not make any sense why they would ask that for electronic documents. I can understand passports and birth certificates, different story.

Thanks Russki for your quick reply, I called this number and lady told me that print your assessment copy and go to your nearest JP or police station and submit to immigration department.

You can travel in and out of Australia for holidays as many times as you can while your 489 visa is in force. 🙂

There is a remote chance immigration will pick up your file while you are away, and if your file is "direct grant worthy", they will notify you with a "pre-grant" message, that you will get the proper grant on your return to Australia. 🙂

Hi Russki, thank you very much for the advise. Also what would u advise? Do I need to inform or is it better to inform  the traveling period to the immigration? Thanks.

Just a bit concerned, iDo any applications gets rejected if applicants are at off shore when the applications get picked up for processing?

What would u think?chances of processing application on May? Thanks

They will not reject your application just because you are off-shore. They will just "hold" it, while you are away. 🙂 To reject application there needs to be a serious reason.

Nobody really knows about the chances of it being picked up, the immigration are quite unpredictable. 😄

Application doesnt gets rejected. It is just put on hold till you come back,. The thing to be noted is that once you come it is not that you will instantly get the grant. You have to wait for "Unknow" time to get the grant once you are back

What will the JP verify against ?  Will we have to take laptop along , log into MyGov account so JP can verify hardcopies against the screen ?

Seems quite strange.
