Anyone in this group
Whose 489 visa is expired and
Bridging visa A is active
And he has moved to different state/city?

Anyone please answer

I am thinking to move to metropolitan city. Because my bridging visa does not have any conditions and 489 is expired

What do you think guys? It should be fine if I move?

Already called immigration and they said you don't have any conditions...

Cant give you an affirmative answer; but we have historically seen applicants have moved. Eventually your call; having said so i will surely wait for PR and then move. All the best!

A migration agent will be the best person to answer your question as this is something that will effect your case in the future.

Hi,I am also in your list. My 489 is expiring on 17th of May 2020 and I have applied 887 got bridging visa A. I am stuck overseas and unable to go back to Australia. Unfortunately, our BVA will not come into effect as we are overseas and we cannot either apply for BVB overseas. If you get exemption or any more info please let me know.

I know two persons, they got exemptions.  they told me wrote their compassionate reasons and one of them told that he contacted his local MP.

Morning everyone,

I hope everyone is keeping well, this is a very scary time we all are facing, praying for everyone's wellness.

I need to apply for my son's Indian passport who is born here in Australia so I can add him on our 887 application.

Currently the VFS office is close and call center is also closed due to the current situation ituation.

I had created the profile on the Indian passport website and started his application,  It's asking me to put his Aadhar card number before I can proceed further however I have not applied his Aadhar card yet and just wondering if anyone from here can share some knowledge and the information , what do I have to do in this situation to complete online application for indian passport for Minor.

Can anyone please share some information for the passport application for Minor.

Thanking everyone in and advance for your time and help, it's greatly appreciated.

Adhaar card is not necessary. I applied for my son's passport and renewed my passport in January this year and didn't provide Adhaar card number in any of the application.

Hi I complain to Global Feedback Unit. This is what i got in reply !!!

The Department of Home Affairs has received your feedback on 31 March 2020. Feedback on our processes and services is important and we thank you for bringing this matter to our attention.

Your application is within our published processing times. We can’t provide any updates on your application’s progress. If you lodged your application online, you can check the status of your application through ImmiAccount.

You may find the following information helpful:

Processing times

You can view current processing times on our website on the page for visa subclasses or citizenship types. Global processing times will be updated monthly. You should check regularly to ensure you remain aware of the current processing times.

Two processing times are displayed in calendar days, indicating how long it is taking to finalise 75 and 90 per cent of applications submitted globally. Estimates of processing times are provided as a guide only. Individual processing times may vary from the published estimates.

Circumstances that affect processing times

We assess applications on a case-by-case basis, and actual processing times can vary due to individual circumstances including:

·         whether you have lodged a complete application, including all necessary supporting documents

·         how promptly you respond to any requests for additional information (remember to check your junk folder, as our correspondence may auto-filter into spam)

·         how long it takes to perform required checks on the supporting information provided

·         for permanent migration visa applications, how many places are available in the migration program

·         for citizenship applications, the time taken to attend a Citizenship Ceremony or receive a Citizenship Certificate.

Your correspondence will be sent to the relevant processing area for information.

We hope this information has been helpful to you.

Yours sincerely

Luke
