Adelaide meet up in November?

Will try to make it, but we get our new kitten around that date, so might not be able to (or want to) leave him alone all day (what a soppy thing I am eh?).

Just bumping this thread back up to the top.

Unfortunately it is looking like Val and I will not be able to attend on the 15th, due to other urgent matters in Melbourne. It will be a great shame not to meet everybody as we were really looking forward to it.

Can we ask, what's the chances of bringing it forward by a week to Sat 8th? But if not we will just have to have an additional get together.

Look on google maps, the beach and greens are quite clear. There is parking just down from the green, although not loads. I am sure there is other parking in the surrounding streets. Going to go down there this week end to have a look.

We would love to come and meet everyone, it sounds like quite a few of you are going now. We arrive in Adelaide on the 14th of November, think we will be to jet lagged to come. We will definetly be at the next meet whenever that will be.

Hi all,

There seem to be lots of us arriving around the same time in October, anyone fancy a meet-up around 15/16 November?

As the weather should be OK what about Henly Beach? It's a good half-way house between north & south dwellers. There is a lovely grassy area for games if there are any children and several eateries dotted around the square behind the beach and parking is reasonable. All suggestions welcome.

 

Perhaps some 'older' members of PIA would also attend to help us 'newbies' settle into our new lives?

As fas as we are aware the date is the same..... as for picnic...i think its personal choice. They have food places in henley beach and im sure some public bbqs somewhere.
