Migrants already granted permanent residency before 1 July 2018 will not be affected by this measure. Individuals and families subject to a waiting period will continue to have access to broader Government funded healthcare, education services and to childcare subsidies where they are using approved childcare and participating in work, study or other approved activities.

my previous employer who is from a different regional state emailed me a copy of the employment reference letter recent;y , it has all the details addressed to dept f home affairs including contact details for more info. in it however for some reason he used a black and white letter head  and black pen to sign ( saving printer ink i guess ) and therefore the scanned copy he sent to me through email looks more like a scanned photocopy of the employment letter. I don't have a good work rship with this business so can't go asking for a color one again and he said he'll post me the original it has been 3 weeks and didn't receive it i believe he didn't post it ( save stamp money urgh! )  . Should this be alright to attach as employment reference or do i need to get another one on a colour letterhead ?

also the email was sent from the official business email address so if i show this email with the reference letter attachment i received from the employer to a JP should  they be able to certify it as a true copy?

Hello all

I think most of the people are aware that 2018/19 financial pAYG summaries are not issued by companies and so is super statements. This will be available online. My question is

as they are not available to us, so we need not upload in our application PAYG summary and superannuation statement?

Should we only upload tax return summary?

Don't be optimistic, every year is crap compare to last year. This data from last year they hardley processing any file between August to December. Seeams like we are in a trap, if someone escape from it should be super lucky. Unfortunately we have nothing to do except being played by Immigration. It's pathetic they stopeed at 29 June 2018. Last 10 weeks they did not do anything. They are not processing any file from July 2018. Something behind it, must have been but we know nothing about it. Waiting list is getting bigger and bigger. 425e2c21bcd9458ebe17c1cb65570788.jpg

@Maxzone I understand your frustration, and you're completely right also. There hasn't been much progress in the last month.

But you also have to acknowledge that there still was progress as we have had 19 grants in July 19 and up till today we have had 17 (out of my head). And that is still more than July and August 18.

It doesn't matter if these were old or new files. All need to be processed. And every file out of the way is one step closer to yours also.

I see that you applied Dec 18, so yes... you probably have got another while to go and it does take forever. But every day is one day closer to your grant also.

Keep up the good spirit bro, we're here to listen. Even if you do not see the end anymore. Hang in there,  your grant will come too.

I am not frustrated, getting used to it. I am in to it, I belive one day I will get my grant. I don't understand their processing system in other word there is no system it's a disaster. I hope everyone will get their grant soon.

I do agree with you, you've got no idea how many times I close of this forum at the end of the day thinking: "What a waste of time this whole processing system - and then some inappropriate language follows."

But at least we know that we're not alone and that more people go through the same emotional rollercoaster. I'm just happy to be on this forum speak and help others and clear up my own frustration.

Guys, try checking the Centrelink website instead of asking the same thing time and again

For example, here is info for the child care eligibility

https://www.humanservices.gov.au/individuals/services/centrelink/child-care-subsidy/who-can-get-it/residence-rules

Thanks @Megrand1.

I’ve seen this link and it did indicate you have to be a PR, but did not mention any waiting period that needs to be served. So that means we can access child care subsidy upon being granted PR.. or is there a fine print somewhere that I am not seeing..?

Hi All,

Please guide me if my current experience and following proofs would suffice the 1 year work requirement for 887 visa?

Currently being on 489 visa, I am working from home i.e. from regional area of Australia for an overseas employer that doesn't exist in Australia. What I have done to prove my work is following:

1. Registered myself with ABN in Australia as to provide services to clients remotely

2. My salary comes in my Australian bank account

3. I have made the invoices of the same amount mentioning my ABN of exactly the same amount that gets into my account (as salary from my employer).

4. I can show bank statement showing same salary credits

5. Since registered with ABN but my annual income is less than 75,000 AUD hence unable to register for GST and cant obtain BAS (Business Activity Statement). Therefore paying taxes as sole trader on my ABN income i.e. Tax proof on my ABN income.

6. My overseas employer signs the monthly time sheet which clearly shows how many hours a day throughout the month I have worked / provided support to clients hence I can show that I have worked at least 35 hours a week by submitting these signed time-sheets including overtime in some weeks.

So in a nutshell, I can provide following documents:

ABN, Tax proof, Invoices, Monthly Timesheets, Bank Statements, Contract with employer which clearly shows that I am working from SA and I am an independent contractor.

Apart from these, is their any thing else that I should be needed else my above experience wont be considered? Or is it that my by submitting above docs, I can satisfy the 1 year work requirements for 887 visa?

Help on above is much appreciated. Many thanks.

That's it. No waiting periods are imposed on Child Care. I am waiting PR for Child Care as well))))
