We got it! Visa granted!!!

 

I was having a "lie in" (until 7am) with my 2-year-old and 7-week-old. I woke up to see my husband come in with my 4-year-old wearing an Aussie hat. My response: "We haven't, have we?!?!"

 

We only did the medicals a week ago and I wasn't expecting the visa grant so soon!

We lodged the 176 application on 7 December. Medicals done on 10th Jan.

Hey Guys!

 

I've updated the tracker and I've put it on Google Docs so that EVERYONE can add/edit in a timely fashion. Basically, click on the link at the bottom of this post, and add/edit the document to keep it updated.

 

A few rules:

 

1) Don't edit any information that is NOT yours to edit (Please alter only 'your' rows)

2) Use the existing colour scheme (Colours are under custom)

3) Don't change layouts

 

I have backups of the doc of course so if something goes wrong, we can re-upload it, but I thought I'd give this a go!

Thankyou Helchops, brilliant spreadsheet, wouldn't have a clue how to do one myself

 

We are a family of 4, Rob and i are mental health nurses, he is the visa applicant but i'm doing all the work and nagging or as he puts it "persistantly reminding" hoping to be in Australia around october 2013, kids would go tomorrow if they could.. immediate family aware of our plans and not going down too well as i'm the one they all seem to come to when they need something or a shoulder to cry on. As it says in my sig. thats where we are at the moment and today ss is showing as "all documents received" .

My CO asked me to pay the second installment as my wife does not have the IELTS score. Can I assume this is as pre-grant of my 475 VISA?

Based on few of my friends who already received the grant, you will get it in a couple of weeks (even earlier) after the payment is done. So.... you can expect the GOOD news soon.....

I just surprised!!!!! As secondary applicant your spouse just need to submit a IELTS score avg brand 4.5 only. But if you pay for that you need to pay +- 4000 AUD!!!

Anyway you can PM me you cell# so that we can talk in detail, after all we are from same country.
